Maastricht is the most pleasant city in the Netherlands! A versatile city where history, culture, fashion and Burgundian cosiness come together. Because Maastricht is located in the southernmost point of the Netherlands, the city has an international feel. Although you know you are in the Netherlands, you still get a real holiday feeling, partly due to the soft accent of the people of Maastricht.

Maastricht is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands and has been inhabited since the Romans and is therefore full of history. Beautiful churches, small streets and the Sint Servaasbrug bring this history close.

Maastricht is certainly moving with the times. It has modern street art and some beautiful examples of contemporary architecture. The modern Bonnefantenmuseum and the Ceramique district are certainly part of this.

Maastricht is absolutely Burgundian! You can always go here for a bite to eat and a drink in one of the many cafes, eateries and restaurants. and terraces. During carnival the beer flows freely and the city is blessed with no less than five Michelin star restaurants.

Maastricht is a fantastic destination for a fun day out or a long weekend enjoying everything this lovely city has to offer and, in our opinion, one of the nicest cities in the world.
